Carlo Nason was born into a family of expert glassmakers in 1935 in Murano, Venice. No wonder he specialized in the art of glassblowing. In the sixties he decided to go solo to design modern glass lamps. Mazzega impressed by his work invited him to work for them, their collaboration which was not exclusive lasted until the eighties.
