Jacques Biny (1913-1976), interior designer born in Valence – France, develops his passion for lighting in the early fifties.

His work on light refraction and new materials such as perspex and all forms of metal make him one of the top figures of European design.

Most of his creations will be edited by his own company Luminalite founded in 1953.
